Russian Roulette Play

How many players for Russian Roulette

Two to eight people. One phone for the whole group. The stepper will not leave that range.

The limits

Minus stops working at 2. Plus stops working at 8. The game opens on 4, with the fields already named Player 1 through Player 4. Change the count and rows appear or drop off. A row you already named stays as you typed it. An empty row becomes Player and that row's number.

One person cannot start a round. There is nobody to pass the phone to, and the roster refuses to go that low.

One phone, on purpose

Everyone plays on the same device. After each pull the pass screen names the next living player and has no trigger. Pass the phone, then the new player taps the button with their name on it. The previous player cannot pull the next turn from the pass screen.

Turns skip anyone already eliminated. If you clicked, you will not go again until the phone has been around the remaining players. Two players left pass it back and forth on the last-two cylinder.

Names

Each name can be 12 characters, and no two names can match. Leave a field blank and the game fills it with Player and that row's number. The name you set shows on the pass screen, the result screens and the winner screen.

What the count does to the cylinder

The cylinder has 6 chambers, and one is live. Seven or eight players alive get one chamber each instead, so a full lap of the table cannot pass without a bang. Because one cylinder is shared, seats can get unequal pulls inside it when the count is 4 or 5. The first player of each cylinder rotates after every elimination, and the Fair rounds setting reloads the cylinder every round so each living player pulls once.

The odds page has the table. The screen order is in how to play.
